I’m Tom! I’m a personal trainer who is keen on all things health and fitness, especially when it comes to lifting weights.

My strength training journey started as a way to become more confident in how my body looked and what it could do. As I started to see the results I was after both in the mirror and on the barbell, I also realised that I was feeling much healthier and more capable even outside of the gym. This is a realisation that I want to share with as many people as possible: that the benefits of strength training go far beyond just looking good and throwing around heavy weights for the sake of it (though I’m all for those as well).

My main goal as a personal trainer is to make strength training more open and accessible. Knowing where to start can be a daunting experience, and I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to start training regardless of their experience level or goals.

As you might expect, I’m also a big advocate for the personalisation of fitness and nutrition advice. Although the benefits of exercise and a nutritious diet might be similar for everyone, how they fit into people’s daily lives can vary immensely. I get a kick out of helping people build health-promoting habits into their existing lives in order to set them up for sustainable, long-term success.

Outside of the studio, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (especially my wife and dog), messing around with my 3D printers, reading books, and playing video games.
